Non-scored

The VCE VET Program in Certificate II in Electrotechnology Studies (pre-vocational) is a Victorian accredited curriculum that offers students the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge across a range of electrical sectors, including electrical, electronics, refrigeration and mechanical engineering.

The course provides students the opportunity to learn about work health and safety, electrical concepts and applications, parts and components, communication, mathematics, electrical wiring and equipment and drawings and diagrams.

Application Restrictions: Applicants must have successfully completed Year 10 to be considered for this course.

Recognition within the VCE and VCE VM

This course contributes towards VCE and VCE VM.

VCE Contribution: The VCE VET Electrical Industry program does not offer scored assessment. A student who achieves a Units 3 and 4 sequence may be eligible for an increment towards their ATAR. Increments for a VCE VET Program Non-Scored Units 3 and 4 sequence will be calculated using 10% of the fourth study score of the primary four.
