Your USI will give you access to your training records and transcripts online at anytime and anywhere. Without a USI, training providers cannot enroll you correctly or issue you with your Statement of Attainment or Qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-get-a-usi\"><strong>How to get a USI?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">It is free and easy for students to create their own USI online and there are helpful \u201chow to\u201d instructions available on the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">USI website &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usi.gov.au\/\">www.usi.gov.au<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">&nbsp;To create a USI, you will need to provide a valid form of identification \u2013 below is a list of acceptable forms of ID that can be used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Australian Passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Non-Australian Passport (with Australian Visa)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Australian Birth Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Australian Driver\u2019s Licence (Learner\u2019s Permit)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Medicare Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Certificate of Registration by Decent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Citizenship Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">ImmiCard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">We encourage students to where possible, use a personal email address when creating their USI login. If a student needs to reset a password or retrieve login details post school, having a school email address could make it difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Students are also encouraged to save their USI in an easily accessible space for future reference &#8211; perhaps saved in an email folder or as a contact in your phone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All students undertaking nationally recognised training MUST obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
